Resurrect Pages – excellent Firefox addon lets you retrieve the missing Web

Resurrectpages

The free Resurrect Pages addon for Firefox gives you the power to restore lost Web content at a stroke. You know, dead pages, sites which have been destroyed by Slashdot, all that kind of stuff.

The addon basically lets you search all the cache services such as CoralCDN and Google Cache by embedding access into the ‘Not Found’ page you receive. It’s dashed clever and potentially hugely useful if you’re a heavy Net searcher. Very cool.

Dead pages, broken links, the scourge of the internet. Powerhouse sites like Slashdot and Digg can bring a server to its knees. What do we do when a page is dead but we still want to see it? Call in the clerics, and perform a resurrection ceremony! Or, the easier route, use this extension.
