This Chinese Sunno S880 mobile phone looks to be pretty conventional, but hidden inside is a deep meaningful secret. It is designed to run both Windows Mobile and the Android operating system. It will ship this month with Windows 6.5 installed, and customers can update the firmware for free in a few weeks to run Android as well. Not sure whether it’s one or the other, or if the two can co-exist, but either way it’s a pretty awesome feature.

The specs aren’t too shabby either, with a 5.0 megapixel camera with flash, 3.6 inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, quadband and EDGE support, 806Mhz processor, WiFi, GPS voice navigation on-board, compass, FM radio, 18 languages and Bluetooth. Oh and it comes with two 1500 mAh batteries.

The specifications of the product are very impressive: WM6.5, Android, GPS, etc. But the more research I do, the more questionable it becomes. I have seen the S880 listed as having a 2MP, 5MP, and 8MP lens. Some sites do not list the Android operating system. With all the listed capabilities, one would expect lots of customer and professional reviews. But reviews are extremely limited. YouTube has one poor video which show nothing. It looks like a great idea which has not got all the bugs out yet and is not prime time ready. If I am wrong, someone please let me know. Has anyone got their hands on the real cellphone? Does it really support both OSs. Dome vendors say it has ROUTE 66 and other say nothing. What is the real scoop? The cellphone is too expensive to make a mistake on. Anyone really knows, please write something serious on this phone.

I have a sunno s880, and in fact is not what tenm gone written by vendors, since it brings android, or bring the route 66 so that until now have not got to work with other software, even for the gps working. ja now also be grateful if someone suber resolve this problem grateful.
