Eleven Rack – the ultimate guitarist’s studio

Apparently this Eleven Rack guitar processor from Digidesign is the bees knees. If they could play rockin’ electric guitar of course. Which they can’t. Anyhoo…the thing comes with emulations of all the major guitar amps, as well as ‘legendary’ effects emulators, USB audio interface and a brand name that will guarantee you end up in the Spinal Tap Hall of Fame. If there was one. Which there isn’t. $899.97.

While there are spot-on emulations of legendary effects onboard, an effects loop allows you to keep your favorite stompboxes in the loop. Many of us have a range of guitars, running the gamut from vintage single-coil-equipped axes to more modern guitars with active pickups. The “True-Z” front-panel input automatically senses the optimal impedance for your guitar and adjusts itself accordingly, ensuring the best guitar tone possible, no matter what guitar you’re using.
