The LiveView function on digital SLRs has brought lots of very nifty gadgets, but this Pixel LV-W1 Wireless Remote Control seems, so far, to me to be the best of the bunch. The transmitter clips to the flash hot shoe and connects to the camera via the USB port. It then broadcasts the LiveView feed to the receiver which has 3″, 960×240 LCD screen. The transmitter can reach out to about 80m and you can fire the shutter or even do the half -press focus thing. Best of all, the battery on the receiver lasts for 8 hours, so you can really set it and forget for remote photography. Works with Canon and Nikon. The only prices I can find seem to be on ebay from Poland for around US$335/£215, so caveat emptor kiddies.
