Dexpot – Virtual desktop software plus more

Image

Dexpot is a virtual desktop manager that allows you to create multiple desktops for a range of tasks or software. Put all your work short cuts on one page, put all your home stuff on another. Or, create different desktops for different customers; video editing, document writing or whatever. You can even bind programs to different desktops to keep yourself focused.

It’s a pretty slick looking program and you can add extra plugins for things like 3D desktop transitions and these wallpaper clocks. And if that’s not a reason to install I don’t know what is. The software is free for personal use. [Thanks Gareth]
