Seedbed Roll – Awesome way to grow greens

Look I don’t know what to call this Seedbed Roll. Is it a gadget, a lifestyle product, eco thing or lunch? Whatever you call it, it’s still moderately clever. For starters it’s a roll of lettuce seeds, your choice, the name’s on the tin; Oriental Salad, Mediterranean Salad or Summer Patch Salad. The trick is that the lettuce seeds are impregnated into a grow mat that takes all the hard work out of planting.

You roll out however much salad you think you’ll feel like in 3 months and lay it out on fresh soil. Watering and rain will do their thing and you will soon have nummy lettuces poking into the ground and growing under the protective micro-environment cover. Best of all, the cover stops the weeds and grubs, so when it’s harvest time you just peel back the layer grab your greens and compost the cover. How good is that? £6.99

Developed for commercial growers, the revolutionary Seedbed Roll is now available for all you backyard veg-fans. But what is it, we hear you yell as you race to don your wellies. Basically it’s a seed-laden grow mat and polytunnel, scientifically developed to conserve water and produce chemical, bug and disease-free veg. Mmm…home-grown pak choi.
