ErgoMotion Laser Mouse – removing RSI one wobble at a time

The new ErgoMotion Laser Mouse from Smartfish apparently reduces the risk of Repetitive Stress Injury by making your mouse hand wobble around as you work. Because of this rocking and pivoting motion, your hand never adopts the same posture twice, thus negating the repetitive bit.

Sounds good right? Mmm…perhaps. I’d have to use it for a time to make that call, and there’s also the other aspects to the thing, like is it a good mouse in general? Still, an interesting idea. Priced at $49.95.

The ErgoMotion Mouse redefines what a true ergonomic product should be by actually reducing your risk of Repetitive Stress Injury (RSI). How? By adding motion! The ErgoMotion Mouse utilizes a patented motion-base that adapts to your natural hand and wrist positions while you work. The mouse will rock, swivel or pivot with your movement so your hand and wrist are never in a fixed position, creating the most comfortable and healthy mousing experience ever!
