Braille Wrist Watch For The Blind

Kickstarter Watch Braille Wrist Watch For The Blind

We are all so concerned with the time, that we ask almost every ten minutes just to be updated. What would life be like if you had a busy schedule, but were blind and had no idea what time it was on a semi-regular basis? David Chavez has created a Braille watch that protects the bumps used to read time, and keeps them in a horizontal line to give the user speed and accuracy.

Sure there are watches out there that that have Braille on the outer rim of the watch, or will voice the time when you click a button, but one good chip will take the outer rim off, and if you’re in a busy city, a little electronic voice isn’t going to help very much. Though this watch is awesome, it doesn’t exist yet because of a lack of funding. If you think this idea is worth it, go to Kickstarter and make a pledge to help Chavez get these watches into production.
