Remove Empty Directories – freeware auto deletes your empty folders

We’ve all got them right? Empty folders/directories lying around on the disk, cluttering up our file explorers and generally making the place look untidy? Well now you can fire up the Remove Empty Directories freeware program and set it to find and delete those errant folders automatically. No more boring manual hunts for orphans (of the digital kind).

Everyone who installs and removes software regularly should have this puppy in their toolbox. You know it makes sense, time poor peeps.

One might think that searching and deleting empty directories is a trivial thing, but once you have hundreds of them it get’s really exhausting. That’s the reason I made RED. It’s a small and simple tool that searches and deletes empty directories recursively below a given start folder. And before deleting anything it let’s you check all empty directories it found.
