If you’re one of the people who got lucky and had Google send you one of their cr-48 ChromeOS notebooks, or have decided to purchase one, you’ve no doubt had an interesting experience thus far. I’ve spent some time with one, so I know how strange it is to have nothing but a browser at your fingertips. However, it is surprising how much you can actually get done with only that. Today, you’ll have one more thing that you can do, thanks to Netflix.
The company has officially released their streaming app for ChromeOS. This will, like other versions, allow you to stream your favorite movies and TV shows on your Chromebook. With the long battery life I’ve seen with the original cr-48, I’d say it makes a perfect device for streaming.
