The Handpresso Auto will hook into your car’s 12V cigarette lighter and make what is being advertised as “premium quality espresso.” This is actually a pretty heavy duty device, but is quite simple to use. Pour in water until it tells you to stop, place an espresso pod in its proper spot, and have your cup at the ready. Make sure you don’t forget the cup…hot espresso in your lap could make a bad morning much, much worse. The cycle time is about 2 minutes, so you could likely have about 5 cups of espresso in about 10 minutes. Talk about a morning pick-me-up! It is capable of pulling about 16 bar, which is decent enough, but there wasn’t much talk of how hot the water gets. This portable caffeine machine will set you back about $200.
