Emitips make your favorite gloves smartphone compatible

Everyone loves using their smartphones, but not many of us like operating them outside when it’s freezing cold. For one thing, it’s a real hassle having to take our gloves off, stuff them into a pocket and then get on with the phone, then shuffle about retrieving the gloves without getting frostbite…you get the picture. And these special smartphone gloves are fine, but what happens if they’re not to our taste?

Now there’s a simple answer. Emitips are specially formulated iron strips of material which turn your existing favorite gloves into ones which will work with smartphone touchscreens. The material transmits the same kind of electrostatic to the screen to fool it into thinking your glove is a finger. Go figure!

You get six strips in each pack, and all you need do is iron them onto the index, middle finger and thumb of each hand, and presto, you’re gonna be warm and texting in next to no time. The strips are machine washable at low temperature, and if they start peeling just iron them back on again. We’re not sure if they’ll work with leather gloves, but they should suit wool, cotton and most man made material gloves. A pack is priced at $9.95. Clever!
