Have you ever found that the speakers on your device are just not powerful enough? You strain to hear movies and music, cupping your hands, or propping it up on something where the sound will bounce back a bit more, but nothing works. The solution is another, more powerful speaker, but that means you lose the use of a USB port, and you have to find a place to sit it.
This is not so with the Sound Cylinder, as it clasps on to your tablet or laptop with ease. This 2.1 speaker system connects via Bluetooth, so it will work with any of your music-storing gizmos, as long as they fit the criteria. It has two forward-facing 32 mm midrange/high frequency drivers, side firing 43 mm woofers, and a 3.5 audio input for any non-Bluetooth audio sources (coupled with a headphone jack). It can last for ten hours, and recharges through micro USB. It has a built-in kickstand, so your tablet can sit wherever you’d like, and you’ll still be able to hear whatever is playing. This costs around $200, and will be available in February.
