Magimix Vision Toaster – perfectly judged brown every time, right?

OK, now this is definitely on top of the ‘why’s it taken so long’ list. How many times have you wished you had a toasting machine which not only did the job, but also let you see how things were getting on in there, so you could make sure no burnt bits were happening?

We’re guessing it took ages because engineers don’t like toast. But that doesn’t sound right. Anyway here it is, the Magimix Vision Toaster, in all its glory. However if there’s one thing we’re sure of, it’s the fact that toasters are a *very* emotive subject, with people loving or hating them all for one reason or another.

The glass panels are apparently doubled up to prevent heat scorching sensitive little fingers, and it comes with quartz technology, whatever that means, to ensure even browning on both sides. But we don’t care. We just like the fact you can see what’s going on. Magic. Priced at $179.90.

The company gave me one of these to review for them on my website. It’s a great toaster although a bit heavy. Also, you linked the product to Amazon but it links back to your site. I think you maybe forgot the “http://” when inserting the link in the backend.

Thanks for the heads up, now fixed. Personally I love the Kenwood TT720, but it looks like it’s sadly discontinued now. Soft eject. :)

So I would wonder what the difference is between the magimix and this glass toaster, also on amazon at: http://www.amazon.com/Kalorik-TO-39085-SS-Toaster/dp/B0093FX38Y, which is actually 100 dollars less?

Clearly the cheaper toaster is using cheap glass. :)
