The worst part about making popsicles is waiting for them to freeze. The. Worst. Part. It’s a million degrees outside, I’m drowning in my own sweat and I have to wait for these popsicles to freeze. With the Zoku Quick Pop Maker, the waiting time has been cut down significantly.
This product, unfortunately, doesn’t flash freeze popsicles. I think that process involves nitro glycerin and may not be safe for children. I’m not a chemist so I’m not 100% on that. But the Zoku does take the time down from overnight in the freezer, to ten minutes and less.
The unit, which comes in a variety of different colors, can make up to three pops at a time and up to nine pops before the base needs to be refrozen. It’s not just limited to juice either. You can make yogurt pops, fruit pops, etc. The process of using this item is simple enough for your kids to do it on their own, but you might want to monitor them just in case.
The Zoku Quick Pop Maker is $49.95.
