I don’t own any Apple products and mostly I’m more than fine with that, but every now and then I see something that makes me cry because I didn’t buy an iPhone. The View Quest Retro Radio is one such product.

Sure I don’t need an iPhone to use this ultra-cool product. This is, after all, a retro inspired radio (honestly, aren’t all radios retro?) which features both DAB and DAB+ (if you’re lucky enough to live in Europe) and if you’re not and still use the US system of measurement, then switch over to FM, this radio still has your back.

But what if you live in the middle of the mountains and have electricity but no radio signal, what then? Well just drop your iPhone or iPod into the dock and get to rocking. Now it does say that it is compatible with your standard headphone jack so you will also be able to use an Android device, but that probably won’t look as pretty sitting in the Lightning dock. It comes in a plethora of cool colors as well. The View Quest Retro Radio starts at £99.
