Sophia Smart Skipping Rope – the rope that counts your jumps for you

Sophia alone

Physical fitness is important. Everyone should move their bodies in a way that feels good. Jumping rope is a pastime that many people found enjoyable when they were kids and can reap the benefits from as adults. The Sophia Smart Skipping Rope is a smart jump rope that tracks your progress while you enjoy your work out.

This is a jump rope that includes Bluetooth technology to track your jumping and ball bearings to help you jump better. It can run for a full month of 30 minute jumping sessions on a single charge and even if the battery dies, it’s still a jump rope. It just won’t track your fitness. The two handles can stick together magnetically making this a portable fitness tool.

The data that the Sophia collects can be assessed through a smartphone app. You can use it to improve your own workout or you can challenge your friends to see who goes harder on the jump rope. Like a 2015 version of when you were in fifth grade. The Sophia Smart Skipping Rope is currently $45 and ships this summer.
