Flapit – show off your social media presence in the 3D world

Flapit

Once upon a time, being popular on the internet meant nothing but today, that’s just not the case and having a huge social media following can translate to real world money, even for businesses that exist primarily in the 3D world. Flapit is the social media counter for the physical world.

Flapit lets customers who walk into shops and business know just how popular the establishment is on the internet. Sure, not all of those faceless numbers have physically showed up at the business (or maybe they have) but it’s a solid bet that people won’t follow you if you’re really terrible at what you do. Unless you’re so terrible, you’re hilarious because the internet loves that sort of thing.

This is a display, like the flip boards found in old train stations. It’s easy to set up so even the most technology challenged person can probably handle it. Plug it in to AC power, connect to the network and set it up your account. It will show of how many friends and followers you have on your social media platforms without your 3D customers logging onto anything. The Flapit is $449.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
