Viridi – grow some cool digital succulents while you find some inner peace [FREEWARE]

Viridi 2

When someone says video games you likely think kids shooting at each other in virtual worlds while they yell mean things through headsets if you’re not a gamer. This is a very narrow view of the HUGE world of gaming. There are a ton of games out there for all kinds of people. In fact, there’s a game for people who just want to grow plants. Viridi is the game that wants you to just tend your garden and chill.

That’s it. No aliens, no puzzles, nothing. Just the pot you picked, your tiny garden of succulents and a snail. You’re responsible for watering your plant and checking in. Overtime, they’ll grow as you check on them and see to their care. Don’t expect to power through this. These plants grow in real time.

Viridi 3

This game is about relaxation really. It’s a simple concept meant to help you chill out. It’s free for PC and Mac but you do have to have a Steam account which is also free. Perfect for people who like plants but have more of a black thumb rather than green. Viridi is a free game.
