Quickstitch – online tailoring services, clothing repair without the trip to the seamstress

Quickstitch

Knowing how to properly tailor and mend your own clothing will save you money in the long run. It’s a life skill. If you’re terrible with a needle and thread, then don’t worry, there’s help for you and you don’t have to actually interact with anyone face to face for it. Quickstitch is the website focused on clothing alterations and repairs.

Love those jeans but they’re too long? Need something taken in or let out? This website will do it. With services for both men and women’s clothing they can turn an ok look into a solid, well-fitted masterpiece.

The process is simple. They site has measuring guides (don’t cheat on them!) to ensure proper fit. All you need to do is order your alterations/repairs, ship your garment and wait. In three days or less they should be on the way back to you. The pricing depends on what you’re having done but if you have something you love, getting it altered so it’s still wearable beats throwing it out. Some bad news though, it’s only available for those in the UK.
