Matter and Form – the little 3D scanner for your desktop

Matter and form in use

3D printing is a lot of fun. If your 3D design game is on point, you can make a lot of really cool objects. There are a lot easy to us programs to help people build the things of their dreams. Still, it’s a little difficult to recreate from life. If the object you want to make already exists, why not just scan it in? The Matter and Form is a small scale 3D scanner for your design studio.

Matter and Form all alone

This is a small 3D scanner for capturing objects up to 8 inches in diameter and 9 inches in height, so no, you won’t be able to get a perfect capture of your entire body, but you will be able to capture for favorite small figurines and the like.

The device is easy to use, all you need to do is place your object to be scanned, let it do its thing and you can then do what you like with the file it creates. Share it, use it for other art projects or print more from the capture scan. This works with both Apple and PC and costs $494.09.
