Sickweather – avoid outbreaks with this app

It’s cold outside which means that there are an insane amount of germs just waiting to take you and your family out. Colds, the flu, and weird stomach issues are all over the place and they want to lay you low. Handwashing helps fight them but you can do better. Sickweather is the app that maps illness so you can avoid where it’s spreading.

It compiles public post on social media that state that someone is sick and uses that to build an outbreak map. Location data is attached to public posts which is what it uses to populate its grid of illness.

It also compiles direct reports from users and shares the information anonymously. It tracks various illnesses so that you can avoid the ones that matter most to you which is probably all of them. No one wants to be sick, being sick is awful. The app is available for Android, Apple, and through the web.
