It’s 2017 and it’s time to stop getting into flame wars with people over Twitter. Channel your rage into something better: Charity. Triggered is the site that lets you channel your anger at people on the website to a charitable donation.
This is pretty simple to use. Create an account with the app and then whenever someone upsets you, you can tweet your donation to the organization of your choice. This will likely be the organization that is opposite from the person you’re tweeting stance on an issue.
This service takes any nonprofit and allows you to donate to them. That means that not all the organizations that work with this service will be ones that you agree with. Still, this is an interesting use of internet rage and your $5 donation would likely serve the organization more than your 20 minutes of engaging in a Twitter feud with someone who doesn’t know they’re wrong.
