Plastic Film Recycling – get rid of all those plastic bags without harming the earth

We use a lot of plastic. You can easily toss plastic bottles into the blue bin but what about all those plastic shopping bags we accumulate on quick runs? Or the bag our bread comes in? Or the protective covering for nearly everything we buy? Plastic Film Recycling will help you locate where you can take these things.

Plastic film is the stuff that covers our stuff. This film cannot go into normal recycling bins in most places, as it clogs up the gears and creates more of a problem. Sure we can reuse some of these things, like grocery bags but the sheer amount that we collect can sometimes be too much for any one family. There are places to drop this waste off to however.

Enter your postal code and the website will let you know where you can take your plastic film trash for recycling. Then just drop it off and carry on with your life. Unfortunately this is only for the United States and Canada but if you know of similar initiatives in your area of the world, leave the info in the comments!
