Pela Case – shock absorbent and earth friendly

Smartphones have been around for a few years now and by this late stage in the game, we’ve all had a few of them. We know how to safely recycle our mobile devices when we’re done with them but did you ever wonder what happened to the cases? If you’re concerned about the waste produced by unwanted cases, check out the Pela case, it’s biodegradable.

First and foremost, it is only for newer iPhone models which is a real drag. Hopefully they’ll expand their models to accommodate some other devices! Still, this is so neat, more people should know about it! These cases made from recycled and eco friendly materials.

Sure they’ll protect your device during its lifetime but when that’s over the biopolymer and flax straw waste products that this is made from means that it can be returned to the earth safely even in your own backyard compost pile. Pela Cases start at $34.
