Messenger Kids – keep track of who your kids talk to

Facebook and Messenger have become one of the most common ways that people keep up with one another around the world. Kids shouldn’t have social media so how can you help little Tommy keep up with his cousins across the country? Messenger Kids is one answer.

All this is a chat app for minors. Sure they can use Skype or just call their friends and family but this app gives them a sense of independence while still letting parents have oversight and control of their activities. Parents can set approved contents and monitor the communication from their own Facebook account. Creating a Messenger Kids account does not give children a Facebook account.

Although on one level this seems like a grab to get more people onto the platform, earlier, this is a useful communication tool for families that are widespread. It’s easier to communicate across one platform and if the majority of the family is already there. You can download it for free for mobile devices.
