In-Vehicle Life Presence Detector – this gadget tracks vital signs in your car

Children and pets left hot cars is an issue of major concern. Many innocent lives have been lost due to this issue which seems so simple to many. It’s a complex situation with many causes. The In-Vehicle Life Presence Detector is a gadget that hopes to help find a solution to the problem.

This device attaches to the car and monitors for vital signs. If the driver is leaving the car while something living is still in it, the driver will be alerted so that they do not forget. This tracker can even detect people and animals while they are sleeping.

This device can be programed to alert first responders as well, in case the appropriate action is not taken to help the person or pet that has been left in the car. It is wireless. This is an interesting take on this line of devices, most rely on RFID type solutions, this one is a bit different. It’s not out yet but it’s an interesting concept that may save lives one day.
