DollarGadgets (EP.5): This is a Hoover Football! [REVIEW]

We’ve checked out some pretty cool products in the past, but this is the first time I check out a football where the air comes out of the bottom.

PRICE: 20$

SCORE: 4,5/5 (for no batteries included…)

PROS

  • It’s cool!
  • The airflow is actually pretty strong
  • There are flashing led-lights on the bottom
  • The bumps work very well
  • It glides fast

CONS

  • It’s a bit loud
  • You’ll need to have your own batteries
  • It doesn’t glide as smooth on every surface

VERDICT

Well to be honest, we can’t really call this a football, more like a hockey puck or disc or something like that. However it’s still pretty cool. It has that old school design and it’s – which surprised me after testing it with kids – pretty durable. The cushioning on the side makes sure it bumps back and you’ll have a lot of fun with it. This can be useful for kids who are starting to play football and want to practice a bit indoors, but it’s also fun for older people. Just make sure you don’t hit it too hard so it doesn’t fly through the air! You can find the Air Powered Soccer here.
