When it comes to fighting against negative changes in our environment, the focus is often on global issues and how to help out on a large scale but a new study shows that instead of focusing big, there’s some merit to turning people’s focus locally.
We all live in the world although ice caps melting and emissions are huge, huge problems, they can be a little hard to grasp. Smaller issues, local recycling, energy usage, green areas, etc are easier to focus on and work with.
Although the common idea is that this focus will draw away from large problems, it makes sense that people have an easier time of focusing on small things but more importantly, if everyone is making small improvements, that really helps to improve the world overall.
