Velocipede.

Carbonchassivelocipede

The Carbon Chassis Velocipede. Apparently this is the world’s first carbon fibre velomobile. Me, I just like the colour. That splash of yellow, mind you, will cost ya an eye watering $13,999.95, so don’t wait up dear.

The interior has a recumbent seat with variable longitudinal pedal geometry for a customized fit that maximizes comfort and pedal power efficiency. A Shimano derailleur and SRAM Gripshift Rocket shifter on the hand control allows smooth, shudder-free shifting. The velomobile has a headlight, tail light, and turn signals powered by a rechargeable battery

  1. Lovely thing, the go-one, but it is not the first carbon fiber velomobile. That was the C-Alleweder (AKA Limit) in 1996 in the Netherlands.

Had a feeling that I’d seen other stuff. Not quite as pretty though I have to say. :-)
