SMS Jukebox

Smsjukebox

Orange France has signed up to supply an SMS Jukebox function to its subscribers. The service lets customers in bars, restaurants or other leisure establishments choose and play songs by sending a text message to the jukebox. Apparently the song will be played in seconds. Phone jammers could suddenly become very popular, don’t you think? [via The Stinger Report]

All the customer needs to do is send an SMS on his mobile phone with the selected song number, and it will be played at the location within seconds…The first phase will be conducted as a pilot in 20 sites in the heart of Paris, and following this stage we expect countrywide rollout to thousands of locations in France.

  1. It says that this service is in France will it be coming to UK and if so when, this would be very good for the communications market here in the UK.
