Humble Voice – artist community done right

Humblevoice

Humble Voice. Somewhere deep in my breast a small voice is shouting, ‘the world can’t support any more social networking sites, really it can’t’, but I’m ignoring it because I really like this site. It’s a meta-artist community site for musicians, photographers, writers and suchlike, with a beautifully clean and sensible design. It also has a huge set of neat features which are ridiculously easy to understand and use. But one word, guys. Try and realise that a FAQ which is locked behind a Sign Up page is not very cool. Just thought I’d mention it.

Operating as a brand new community of artists aptly housed on the website www.humblevoice.com, Humble Voice offers a variety of inspired features geared toward both local and widespread audiences to view and create artist profiles. Each anomalous profile offers ample views of photography, art, film, writing or music. By creating a profile, one can upload, maintain and manage not only a community of friends and family, but also a vantage point to share your own artistic creations – in whichever form they may abound.

  • I checked in to HumbleVoice.com, signed up, and created an account. I wholly disagree with “features which are ridiculously easy to understand and use.”
I found it complicated and not intuiative. Our vastly different experiences makes me uneasy.

The contridiction between the idea (Humble Voice) and its point system makes the site feel disingenuous.

  • I created an account, I am trying to figure out what about it .. clueless
