Evil RSS – turn your Google search into an RSS feed

evilrss Evil RSS turn your Google search into an RSS feed

Evil RSS. Weird name notwithstanding, this is a nice little utility. Enter in a search term and get back the Google results in RSS form so you can add and monitor them in your RSS reader. Clever.

The EvilRSS feed turns Google search results into an RSS feed. Just enter your search query below and click submit. You can then subscribe using your RSS reader and be alerted anytime the search results change.

Here is a web service that provides RSS results for Google Search

    http://www.ecubicle.net/gsearch_rss.asmx

Since the returned XML is RSS 2.0 compliant, the web service can also be called in a feed reader like this:

    http://www.ecubicle.net/gsearch_rss.asmx/GetSearc

You need to change the searchPage, gQuery and numOfResults querystring parameters to your choice. gQuery parameter accepts all standard Google Search Operators.
