Joost invites – GigaOM to the rescue?

Apparently GigaOM and Joost have set up a page to provide thousands of Joost invites to those who apply. It looks a bit broken now though, so don’t blame me if it doesn’t work. And I’m still waiting for some Zattoo invites to hand out, but don’t hold yer breath, OK?

So, has anyone got Joost to work?

I’ve tried 2 PCs and a Mac on 2 different networks and still no joy. All the shows are unavailable (error 16) apart from the Joost intro video which fails with a network connection error (number 2009). It doesn’t matter what I do with my routers, firewalls, security, blar, blar – nothing works…….

Yep, works here Rob. In fact I was just watching it and thinking how the picture has improved. Every time I dismiss the Joost image quality in a post, they seem to get offended and up the ante. Pretty cool.
