Day Clock Classic. This puppy foregoes the tedious task of tracking time and instead focuses on the much more important issue of the incredible shrinking day. Why just yesterday – hmm..or was it last week? – I was wondering why the days whoosh past so quickly, and now I have proof that it’s a plot by the clock makers of the world to move us onto the new ‘day’ standard instead of ‘hours’. You wait, there’ll be government legislation forcing us all to upgrade our equipment to the new standard before long. And then where will we be? Wednesday, that’s where. $39.95.
The face of the clock is divided into seven segments, each representing a day of the week. The line dividing each of the segments represents midnight, and the midway point of each day, noon, is represented by a small dash mark in the middle of each day. The “day hand” will make one full revolution every 168 hours representing the passing of another week. This fun clock is available in either mahogany or oak.
