iPhone Bike Mount – watch movies while you’re pedaling…no wait…

The iPhone Bike Mount may seem like a good idea, but we’ve got our doubts. OK, so it means you can keep your phone where you can see it, just in case it decides to make a break for it. And sure you can catch up on Desperate Housewives on the morning commute. But we just can’t understand how you’re going to cope with all those guys trying to wash the screen with their squeegees at the traffic lights. Sheesh! $14.99.  Wanna to have music…

The Radio Popper P1 is a new radio based flash synch system which offers high speed remote flash triggering via radio even without line of sight. These Baby USB Drives are available in capacities of 2 GB to 4 GB, which is quite astonishing considering how small they are. DIY Solar Bag – make your own eco tote and feel good about life

This DIY Solar Bag is an interesting project if you’ve got the time and energy (arf!). You’ll need lots of tech sounding components like capacitors, voltage regulators and the like, but the result should give you a trickle charge for small devices, as long as you’re facing the sun directly. Mmm…  Walking around in the city on a sunny day gave very good results because of the additional light coming from reflections off glass and bright stone walls. The charging…

30 Alternatives to Adobe Acrobat – getting out from under…

30 Alternatives to Adobe Acrobat. Title says it all really. Me, I’m in love with the fast and elegant PDF Download extension for Firefox, which doesn’t seem to be on the list. So that makes 31 right?  While Acrobat has proven to be a sufficient choice for any kind of PDF needs, there are plenty of drawbacks to this software that people need to know about, and there are plenty of good alternatives. For starters, if you do any kind…

DuoSIM – how to convert a standard cell phone to dual SIM in 3 minutes

DuoSIM is a very cool new conversion kit to upgrade standard mobile phones to dual SIM operation so you can have two SIM cards installed and switch between them at the push of a button. I’ve been looking for something like this for a while to make the best use of different data and call rate plans, but up till now the adapters have all required that you cut your SIM card up first, which is something I didn’t really…
