snitch.name – social networking white pages

snitch.name is one of the reasons I’ve become a little uneasy about the current obsession with social networks. Eyeballing Game – get your eye in

Tucked in the back of a woodworking instruction website is this eyeballing game. A collection of puzzles to test how well you can guess angles, distances and the centres of objects. Others may not even be aware that something may be amiss. If you…

You then plug it in to the nearest computer USB port and download all the guilty stuff. It will hold up to 100 hours of activity and comes with a handy ‘I spy’ magnet so you can slap it surreptitiously under the fuel tank just like Bond does in those movies. Runs…

RODE VideoMic – Walk the walk and talk the talk

Let’s face it, the microphones built into camcorders are pretty rubbish. The cameras might be able to push out HD resolution but they can end up sounding like a tumble-dried cassette tape if people aren’t close to the camera. RDE feels your camcorder pain and have come up with the VideoMic, a professional grade video camera microphone designed for use with amateur consumer grade cameras. The microphone itself is a stereo shotgun condenser capable of recording 40Hz – 20kHz. There’s…

5 in 1 Spy Pen – the ultimate snooper tool

Not only is it a pocket audio recorder, but also a full colour video camcorder with around 60 minutes recording time. But wait, there’s more. It also moonlights as a desktop Web cam with a special stand… …and can do service as a 2 GB USB flash data drive if you need to steal any important documents on your way out the door….
