3M M2256W Multitouch Display – the 22 inch 20 finger monitor

This 3M M2256W Multitouch Display is a 22 inch, 20 finger multi-finger input device. We’re not really sure how 20 fingers works, presumably it can cope with aliens and two people at once. It works with Windows and comes complete with a Tom Cruise mode which increases the volume while looking intense and serious. There’s a video demo on the site too.  The 22-inch 3M Multi-touch Display M2256PW, featuring industry-leading technology from its fast 20-finger multi-touch input to its high-definition,…

Pro Wrestling Alarm Clock – body slam your brain awake

This Pro Wrestling Alarm Clock attempts to wake you up with the voice of a sports announcer and a loud gong in you ear. To stop the noise and grab some extra snooze you need to grapple the device into a headlock submission, pinned shoulder down to the carpet for a count of 10. Or something. Around $48.00.  At the set time, the alarm plays the voice of a broadcaster and the gong will ring unless the user can hit the clock within three counts…

PV900 Cell Phone DVR – covert camcorder mimics nasty vintage Nokia phone

The PV900 Cell Phone DVR (aka the Mobile Agent!) is a full blown digital camcorder cunningly designed to look like one of your grandmother’s cast off handsets from the ’60s. Yep, you’re absolutely going to be the height of mobile phone fashion with this puppy strapped to your wrist. To add insult to injury, you’re going to be paying the equivalent of an HTC Desire type price to grab 16 hours of surreptitious footage on the microSD card. Still, could…

Tea Sub – banish the boring tea bag with this Yellow Submarine dowser

This Tea Sub is officially called a ‘tea infuser’, but we’re happier calling it a funski tea dunker thingy. Forget about the tea bags, just fill this with your favourite choice of leaf (we’re partial to The Emperor’s 7 Treasures personally) boil up some water and immerse yellow capsule in mug. Result, much giggles in the office and a nice cuppa. Perfect. £8.99.  It’s small enough to go in your mug, and it has a nice chain-link cord to help…

Flogs is a very cool online events calendar which you can use to add public events and occasions that you’re interested in to your own personal calendars like iCal or Google Calendar, plus Facebook of course. SparkleShare – open source Dropbox clone on the way?

SparkleShare is a new open source project to provide an alternative to the cool DropBox file sharing and synchronisation service. When I say new, I mean there’s no serious code to speak of yet, just lots of enthusiasm. And bugs. Nevertheless this is an excellent project and one that deserves support. DropBox is fabulous, but we do need an open alternative to provide choice. In case you don’t know about DropBox yet, it’s a superb way to share, backup, and synchronise your…
