We don’t know about you, but we don’t have a lot of spare time left in a day to sit around gazing adoringly at our music system. You know, there’s things like work, food and pillow stomping which take up most of the hours. However if we did by some miracle suddenly obtain such moments, we’d happily consider making full use of this product.

Rohan PowerStation Gloves – for when your hands demand toasty
Sure, it’s all well and good talking about ‘cold hands, warm heart’, but that’s not much consolation when you’re out there in the freezing weather and your fingers feel like they’re about to ice up and drop off. And no, Jack, those fake fur ribbed mittens from the dollar shop do not, repeat not, do very much at all to stop the creeping frostbite. What we need at times like this is something nuclear.
Read More9 Months, 9000 miles with a 2012 Chevy Volt – mythbusting the amazing GM eco car [Review]
The 2012 Chevy Volt is charging ahead in the electrifying battle to become the #1 plug in hybrid. OK, so how cheesy an opening is that, but the reality is that for the first time since the horse drawn carriage, gasoline is slowly becoming more of an optional part of the personal transportation equation. At least that’s the way it seems right now…gas powered skateboards may change the balance once again if they get popular. But I digress.
Read MoreFreemore Audio Video Suite – every tool you need for your audio and video editing in one spot [Freeware]
One of the most frustrating things about sitting down to do a spot of multimedia editing is trying to locate the different programs you need to do various tasks. Because it’s never a simple job is it? First you need to grab a file, then convert it, then burn or embed it and so on. And that means hunting around for all sorts of tools and wasting a bunch of time which could be better spent washing the dog. But…

Whether it be in a bag or a pocket, most everyone carries a wallet. It’s where you keep cards, an ID, and cash. Every now and then, you need to get a new one, because leather, cloth, and duct tape aren’t very good with getting tossed around every day. If you want something that is going to last, you’ll want to look for a material that is made of tougher stuff.
Read MoreFortune Cupcakes tell of a sugary treat in your future
There’s a pretty good chance that you’ve had a fortune cookie at least once in your life. I say at least once, because the other times you just break the cookie in half and read your fortune without actually eating the cookie part. If you want a new twist on a old favorite, and are a fan of cupcakes, then you’re going to love this.

Gadgets, gizmos, and trinkets, oh my! We all love getting new bits and bobbles that can not only serve a functional purpose, but also be a nifty little do-dad to add to our collection. If you love to go camping, caving, or just find yourself walking at night, then you likely need a little illumination.

At this time of the year things get messy. Rain, snow, mud, you name it, there’s a lot of it about. Unless you’re sub-tropical Sahara of course, in which case our apologies for disturbing you, madam. Anyway for the rest of us, it can be a cold, wet uncomfortable time, global warming notwithstanding, so it’s good to know there are people out there who want to ease our discomfort and get us on our way again.

The December holiday period is a time for families to get together and share those precious moments which fly past all too quickly. But for some families distance is a real problem, and their only opportunity to convene will be through the power of the cell phone or Internet communications. Over the past five years over 10 million Europeans alone have migrated out of their home country, and there were 115 million hotel rooms booked for Euro holidays in December…
Read MorePhoneJoy Play makes your phone into a miniature console
We’ve seen controllers for phone games before. They’re usually awkward to hold, or a separate piece from your phone. You could just play games without, but then your fingers are clogging up your screen space, which means your going to bomb whatever level you’re on. If you’ve ever owned a handheld gaming system, then you’re going to love this.

You know the old saying, right? Never work with animals or children, and that’s probably an understatement. It’s not that they’re willingly naughty or uncooperative, oh no. The dear things, and we mean kids now, not animals, are just easily distracted. Ooh look, there’s a blue car. Anyhoo, there’s now a tool which should make it easier for photographers to capture the shot they need in their never ending quest for perfection.

While I have no idea when this became a “thing”, having an ugly Christmas sweater party has been more than popular as of late. There are all sorts of these terrible creations floating around, so much so that there is actually a market for them. During these parties, there’s normally a winner of owning the ugliest sweater. If you are scheduled to attend one of these types of parties, then you’ll likely want to have an edge to beat out…

Who would have thought that video would be such a big part of our lives in the twenty first century? YouTube changed everything of course, but so did the massive growth of cheap high resolution video cameras and smartphones with their amazing video quality. The result is that more and more people are trying their hand at producing video, clips, documentaries, music videos…you name it. But one thing that can make a difference between an amateur looking result and more…
