Barbie Polaroid Camera Kit – play time’s over….oh wait…

What are some grand things I remember from my childhood? Playing with Barbie dolls (as well as G.I. Joe action figures because Ken was boring), and thinking Polaroid cameras were one of the coolest things to hit the planet. Nowadays finding one of those contraptions is a rather expensive endeavor. You would think that a Barbie version of this camera would be cheaper, but you’d be wrong.

The Doppleganger Outdoors Wearable Sleeping Bag makes tired trendy

Are you ever hit with the sudden urge to take a nap? Does it happen while you’re hiking? The beauty of nature can be so overwhelming that your brain just needs to shut off to take it all in (ok that doesn’t happen at all, but let’s roll with it anyway). Some of us can’t stand sleeping without having covering of some sort, but don’t always have access to a blanket. Of course, walking all the way back to the…

Hue Animation puts a stop motion studio in a kit

It’s always interesting to see the world from the eyes of a child. Give them a video camera for a day, and you’ll see what playing with toys and going on make believe adventures are like (sometimes growing up makes us forget what it’s like). Now try and picture what giving them their own artistic studio would be like.

Bluelounge Kii – never lose your iDevice connector again

You just found a prime spot to sit down and work for a while. You have your caffeinated beverage in hand, found a plug to keep your laptop charged, and all you need now is your phone charger cable. Of course, this is the one day you left it still plugged into the wall by the nightstand. You keep telling yourself you’ll get a second one so this won’t happen again, but it just never seems to happen (definitely not…

Plug will be a hive mind for all of your devices

Nowadays we have a multitude of devices, many of which serve the same purpose, but come in different sizes. It’s really quite frustrating to go through each device and make sure you have all the same files, apps, etc. so you’re never in want of information. What if there was a way to wirelessly sync all of your data across any computer, tablet, laptop, or phone?

The Floating Sofa – bring the comfort of home on vacation

Nothing beats a comfortable couch. You can sink into it, wrapped in plushy peacefulness while all your stresses and worries of the day melt away. Even though you love swimming and hanging around the pool, the lounge chairs and floaters just don’t give you the same feeling. Pulling your couch out there wouldn’t end well, as you’d be smelling chlorine and mold any time you sit on it after that.

Squito will let you throw a camera to shoot 360 degree photos and videos

One of the most terrifying things that can happen to a photographer is dropping their camera. Hearing the sound of your livelihood crashing to the ground will make your whole life flash before your eyes. What would you do if you were told that there was a camera that you could (and are supposed to) toss? The people at Serveball wanted to make a throw-able camera, and came up with the Squito. It comes in ball form, and looks quite…

Don’t let the junk drawer eat your stuff, use the Dioder LED Drawer Lamp

Just about every home has a ‘junk’ drawer. This is a place for all odds and ends that may or may not have purpose go and rest until needed. Of course, when you actually get around to needing one of the items in this location, it’s usually difficult to see inside of it. You would reach for a flashlight, but sadly it too is hiding within the depths of this drawer.

POMP W89 – is this $150, 4.7 inch, quad core handset the best budget smartphone right now? Possibly. [Review]

We’re starting to get used to the steady stream of improved quality Chinese mobile phones, but every so often one or other sticks out as offering a little bit more sophistication and gloss. Yeah, we know that the innards are all basically the same MediaTek chipset, but there’s still a fair amount of polish the makers can add to the design, interface and ergonomics.

Tardis Backpack – large enough to carry several lunches, a lawyer and a handy screwdriver

Skirting with danger is part of the life of a craft artist, and Lee of MadBoyWithBox on Etsy is certainly doing that with his most excellent new product. Bearing in mind that the BBC retains a kennel full of savage Rottweiller lawyers to hunt down and execute any copyright felons, the intrepid artist has created a ‘Tardis Backpack‘, which we’re sure sure has almost nothing to do with the good Dr himself.
