Today I spotted this cool looking EKEN M001 7″ Android MID, although really the best part was the price, at around US$99 (RMB 680), which was a bit of a surprise. Spotted on the floor of a nameless Chinese trade floor, this Shanzhai iPad clone comes with a 10.1 inch multitouch screen, an Atom N450 600MHz ARM processor and Android 1.5. The big difference is the slider keyboard which appears to copy from the Sony P series style. No word on price or availability as yet, and we are guessing that it is not so easy to fit into the average suit pocket. Tags: shanzhai, ipad+clone
