Hydra Games Console Kit – build your own games console

The Hydra Games Console Kit is perfect for all you do it yerselfers out there who can’t stand paying extra coin for flash packaging and TV adverts. OK, so you’ll need to be a programmer, it’s 8 bit only and costs about the same as a full-on supercomputer-cool black bodied major name console. But hey, think of the kudos as you invite your chums around to play 3 colour break-out with a beeps and chirps soundtrack. Wow! £199.99.  Now you can relive those…

Bikeboard – year round extreme transport fun

The Bikeboard is a versatile little puppy, which converts from a standard 3 wheeler buggy to a snow board and water ski device as the weather or your needs change. The video shows it off nicely, although the water ski conversion looks a little like hard work. Priced at €2200.00, and watch out for an electric version which is apparently on the way from the Swiss manufacturers. Now if only it converted automatically in mid flight like a Transformer….whoooo!  Incredible Fun any time of the year!…

The Pool Treadmill – your very own portable swim machine

The Pool Treadmill turns your swimming pool into a whirling, swirling exercise machine. Hook the trailer and electric motor up to the side of the pool, switch it on and battle against a downstream current of up to 6 mph. If that doesn’t give you a coronary after a few minutes, nothing will. It uses rechargeable batteries, so you can carry it around to your next door neighbour’s BBQ and share the fun too. Gosh. $3,999.95.  This portable swim current…

The Digg PC – the ultimate fanboy case mod

The Digg PC is a bit of an oddity, isn’t it? Built to celebrate a rabid, flesh eating swarm of angry teenaged bumblebees. But hey, whatever floats a boat. It’s kind of pretty though, for a PC, doncha think?  The Digg case will primarily be made of 1/2″ MDF (medium density fiberboard) with a few acrylic windows. It is cheaper than aluminum and acrylic but does have some disadvantages. For starters, cutting is a very dusty process, you have to…

UBFunkeys – cute connectable collectibles

UBFunkeys are small…ah…cute…collectible thingies which connect to your PC via a hub. Once connected they unlock puzzles, open up a virtual role playing game and give you other stuff to do on the computer. Sound like fun? Good, then you’ve made a marketing man somewhere very happy. Starter pack retails for £19.95.  But that’s just the tip of the virtual iceberg because Funkeytown is in a right old mess and it needs your help. A disaster has caused the town’s…

The General Dynamics MR-1 is a quarter of the size of normal laptops, comes with a solid state disk option, fingerprint scanner, Trusted Platform encryption and a stealth mode for quiet operation. No guesses which lucky marketplace it’s aimed at then, eh? The biggest giveaway though, is the fact that it’s 36” drop test certified. Oh yes, it’s tough all right. Lock Alarm – motion sensor alarm protects your stuff loudly

The Lock Alarm promises to deafen everyone in the area instantly if a thief tries to wander off with your belongings. Mind you, nowadays a 100 decibel alarm screaming like crazy is no guarantee that anyone will take any notice. We’ve all become a little numb, haven’t we? $24.95. [via Smidigt]  Simply wrap the plastic coated, retractable steel cable around your briefcase handle, sports equipment, luggage or other valuables and secure them to a table leg, bench or heavy object….

The Shinshoku Watch – LED time made as clear as mud

The Shinshoku Watch is a really easy to read LED timepiece which will make you look really cool when neighbours, friends and family come a-calling. Honest it will. To be honest it’s no surprise that most of us now prefer using our mobile phones to tell the time. At least they don’t need you to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Stupidity. Or is that churlish? Around $120.00.  On the multi-color LED model the red lights (12) indicate the hour,…

Rolling Luggage Cart Desk – hot desking moves into the airport

The Rolling Luggage Cart Desk combines a carry-on suitcase trolley with a laptop table. Because goodness knows, we don’t want to be wasting a second of our life just sitting there admiring the view do we? We suspect that right at this very moment there’s a bunch of researchers working out how to surgically embed a mouse into our lips so we can continue to work while we’re snoring. Sheesh! $159.95. [via BookofJoe]  This rolling luggage cart converts into a stable work platform, providing…

3GHz Wireless Hidden Camera Signal Detector – snoop the snoopers

The 3GHz Wireless Hidden Camera Detector. Be safe, be aware, be sensible and look like a paranoid schmuck as you traipse around buildings waving this puppy in the air. It’s super sensitive to locate those ‘low power’ wireless cameras or bugs, and it will pick up any nasties within a 10 metre range. And it comes with a lovely friendly yellow button to press. Awww…. $50.00.  This is a brand new Mini Wireless Signal Detector that works very well for detecting Hidden…

VRX Triple Screen “Limited Edition 001” – the ultimate gaming rig

The VRX Triple Screen “Limited Edition 001” is being described as ‘the most advanced racing hardware on the planet.’ Which is a pretty bold claim. However, after looking at the spec, we probably concur. And no, we haven’t asked about the price, and neither should you.  # 4 Xbox 360 Elites (while quantities last) # 4 Copies Forza Motorsport2 # Xbox 360 HD DVD player # Xbox 360 camera # Xbox 360 wireless headset # Microsoft Zune # Microsoft Force…

Mini USB Piezo-Ionizer – cool fresh computing

The Mini USB Port Piezo-Ionizer is designed to keep you cool and calm via a steady flow of ‘high density negative ion output.’  We’re talking 2 million negative ions per cubic metre here, so it’s bound to be really Fresh Prince of Bel Air round your desk with this puppy. Actually that’s rubbish isn’t it? We have absolutely no idea whether that’s a good number or bad. It’s just got such a lovely lot of zeros to play with. Ho…
