The world is becoming more and more reliant on technology and lacking some sort of computer-esque device will leave you completely out of the loop for a whole host of things. Not everyone is on the technology grid yet however. Endless is the affordable computer that wants to help people connect.
Endless connects to any TV with an HDMI cable. You will also need a keyboard and a mouse but these two items can be found dirt cheap. This isn’t a tablet, it’s a full PC that is reminiscent of the Apple’s from the 90s. This computer works with or without internet and comes preloaded with a host of apps that can be used right away without any training at all.
These aren’t games, these apps are meant to provide knowledge and software to help people who don’t usually have access to technology to be more comfortable with using technology. It runs its own OS, called Endless. The Endless starts with 32 GB of memory, is Wifi and Bluetooth enabled, and costs $189 to start.

At a certain angle, it looks like a nose… Still, interesting project. I like their 500gb option. Doesn’t seem that they really have much in the way of apps available. OSTree looks interesting – have not heard of this before.
IT DOES LOOK LIKE A NOSE! Now I can’t unsee that. I find the project to be fascinating as well and think that it has a lot of potential.
