Not everyone has the time or space to get away from their troubles. Meditation has been shown in studies to have many mental health benefits. This app will help build a foundation for you to begin your own meditation practice.
The first lesson, Take10 is free. This is just the basics taught in ten, ten-minute lessons. The further courses must be paid for to access if you like what you learn in the basics. You can stick with the just basics if that’s all you need, however, if you decide you need or want more, you can purchase packs of lessons that focus on your own emotions. You can also download the lessons to work offline (in case you’re breaking away from all distractions). Headspace is free for both iOS and Android with the option for purchasing more material.
