Lumo Lift – correct your posture without a reminder from mom

Remember when you were a kid and your parents were always telling you to sit up straight? And you didn’t listen and now you have terrible back pain? It’s not too late to help you get back on the right track. The Lumo Lift is a wearable that helps you get your posture together.

The Lumo Lift is like a little robotic coach for your back issues. Like most wearables it tracks a very specific thing, in this case your posture and activity. When the system senses that you’ve started to slouch (for me it’s when I walk. And it’s because I have to look at my feet or I start veering off. I cannot be the only person with this problem) it sends a gentle vibration so you know to sit or stand up straight. It even syncs up with any iOS (soon Android) device so you can keep abreast of how well you’re doing.

It uses a magnetic clasp attachment so you don’t have to worry about ruining your clothes with clips, and the outside is just a plain square, hardly noticeable. And there are a variety of colors to choose from if black doesn’t do it for you. The Lumo Lift is $99.99.
