Simplenote – super simple note taking app works everywhere you do [Freeware]

I love productivity software and I am definitely overly attached to my cell phone. Constantly shooting emails, sharing pictures and files. Not to mention jotting down notes for future projects. Sometimes I text myself things so I don’t forget, but mostly I rely on apps like Simplenote to help me keep track of my life.

Simplenote is an app for taking notes. That’s it. Just a plan text program for jotting down ideas as they come to you. Or errands you have to remember to run, chores you have to complete, whatever makes your world goes round. It might make you think of Evernote but this program is a lot simpler.

With Evernote there are options to attach photos, blend notes, and share with other users, among other things. Evernote is Word and Simplenote is Wordpad. Which is great, because, just like Wordpad, there are times when simplicity is for the best. There is no complex interface in the way, just jot down whatever you were thinking or needed to remember, and then check back in with it later. Simplenote is a quick and easy alternative to note taking software. And it comes with a great search function to help you find stuff you did earlier.

The freeware works on Mac, Windows, Android, iPhone, Kindle,  and there’s even a web version, so there’s no excuse to keeping your stuff safe and sound.
