If you use Twitter to share bits of information or inspiring quotes from the web, a Firefox add-on has got you covered. Tweet Context lets you select any text from a web page and tweet it by using the context menu — that’s that box that comes up when you right-click on something.

Here’s how it works:

Install the add-on and it will ask that your restart Firefox.

You may use the feature upon restarting the browser. Highlight a text and right-click to open the context menu.

You should see a Tweet Selected Text option, click on that.

A smaller box will pop up asking you to log in to your Twitter account — if you haven’t already. It will also show a preview of what the tweet contains.

After entering your log in details, click Sign In and Tweet. Just like that, you’ve tweeted your content without even using the copy-paste method.

There’s also a few options available for the add-on, such as opening the Twitter page in a new tab instead of another window. You can also opt to use the secure log in by ticking the box next to Use https.

Tweet Context also copies links in addition to text.
