Tzukuri – the first sunglasses which you can’t lose

tzukuri

Almost everyone has had that moment when they’ve managed to leave behind a perfect pair of sunglasses. On a chair, table, bus, taxi, club or grassy knoll. Sunglasses never ever seem to break, they just disappear. As if their time with you is over and they’re on to brighter horizons. We think it’s some kind of a conspiracy with odd socks, but that’s probably a story best left to another time. It’s more likely you just forgot them in a restaurant over lunch, but with Tzukui glasses, that reality can be a distant memory.

The glasses themselves aren’t very remarkable, although they are fashionable and sturdy. What makes these specs great is they come with a built in tracker to let your phone know you’ve left your glasses somewhere. The app sends you three notifications at three different points unless you tell it stop (like a rainy day). It will automatically turn off if you’re home or at work. The app will also show you where you left them so you can go back and retrive them before someone else does.

Which is great because these glasses do not come cheap. We get all our sunglasses from the flea market and the dollar store because we know we’re going to lose them. But these are “unloseable” so we may have to change our ways. The Tzukuri glasses are $249 and available in various styles for preorder.

  • No thanks – I’d rather lose those ugly glasses.
