Mustek ScanExpress S324 – the pocket scanner with color LCD preview

Mustekscanexpresss324

This Mustek ScanExpress S324 portable scanner makes life easier because it comes with a built-in LCD preview screen so you can see what you’re scanning as you go. The scannre resolution is fair to middling at 300dpi, but it does support SD card storage and hooks up to a PC or Mac via USB. The only thing is it needs AC power, so no beach party scans for you this Xmas, I’m afraid. $169.95.

The device accepts face-down up to full 8 1/2″ x 11″ documents and photographs (and as small as 3″ x 5″), scanning them at up to 300 dpi resolution; the LCD provides 480 x 234 pixel resolution. A document or photograph is quickly converted into an individual, high-quality JPEG digital picture file which is saved onto a preferred memory card. The converter accepts SD and MMC memory card formats (up to 32 GB )–a 4 GB SD card (sold below) stores up to 875 images.
