Cheap player with big ideas?

Now here’s a strange thing. Lots of noise for the brand new SanDisk Sansa e280, with its 8GB storage and SD slot, but we’re kind of thinking that this ‘ere ‘no-name’ brand 1GB MP3 player with SD slot also makes a fair bit of sense at a lot less than $280.00. Er…£49.99 in fact. Especially when coupled with one of these ‘no name’ brand 4GB SD cards, eh? But then again, what do we know?  Tough aluminum housing Colour display…

Hydracoach.

The HydraCoach. Forget about nagging grannies, get yourself a nagging water bottle. This baby calculates what you need, tracks every sip you take and ‘motivates individuals to maintain proper hydration.’ Sounds yummy. They’re calling it the intelligent water bottle. We’re just calling it nosy. $29.99. [Via Seihin]  HydraCoach was created from the personal hydration needs of Craig and Kelly Perkins, both lifelong avid outdoor enthusiasts. In 1996 the two were attempting to hike to the top of Half Dome in…

[Thanks Michelle] (Oh, and watch out for the iTrainer Cardio Headphones coming soon for…

The Psile council.

The Nexus Psile Quiet Media PC looks pretty cool in its standard configuration. Mmm…? Oh sorry, it’s a tiny, silent, mini-itx PC that looks almost, but not quite, like a Mac Mini. But why did they have to go and spoil it all with covers? Covers, for goodness sake. Sheesh! From £169.00 barebones.  One of our own test systems was tested in a ISO certified anachoic chamber for noise testing. We selected an average quiet hard disk drive and used a intel pentium m processor…

The instant the threads of sugar hit the air they cool and re-solidify, causing a web of sugary threads to develop in the dishwasher-friendly collection…
